Our Black and White and Grayscale Custom gobos are made from 1.1mm thick borosilicate glass with precision ground and polished edges to ensure a more durable gobo.
Our color gobo process is similar to inkjet printing in that we use 4 layers of glass (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black). By imaging each glass layer and combining them, we can reproduce almost every color available to CMYK printing. This allows us to produce great looking gobos with photographic image quality.
Many of our competitors produce color gobos 5mm in thickness. Since our color dichroic glass layers are only 0.08mm thick, our finished color gobos have a total thickness of 1.5mm. A color gobo that is only 1.5mm thick results in a much cleaner and sharper image than our competitors' gobos. |
